My stay at The Boulders was a truly memorable experience. The breathtaking desert surroundings and the spacious casitas made for a lovely getaway, perfect for relaxation. The service was mostly attentive, with a standout experience at the pools and at the Palo Verde restaurant. However, I was slightly disappointed with one of the spa treatments which didn't meet my expectations. Overall, it was a great value for the money.

My stay at Boulders Resort & Spa was truly a mixed bag. The stunning landscape and spacious casitas made for a memorable getaway, but a few notable hiccups, especially with the service in the pools and some room issues, kept it from being perfect. Overall, though, it's a beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature, just be prepared for some minor inconveniences.
Rooms

The casitas were large and comfortable, featuring nice leather chairs and spacious bathrooms. However, I did have a concern with the door not being fully closed upon returning to the room, which raised my anxiety about security.
Service

While the staff was generally helpful and friendly, there were a few lapses in communication and service, especially at the pool area where the DJ and kids' activities detracted from the overall enjoyment.
Location

The resort is beautifully set among the unique boulders, providing a secluded feel while still being relatively convenient to Carefree. However, it's quite remote for those looking to explore Scottsdale's attractions.
Dining

Breakfast was delightful at the on-site restaurant, and I especially enjoyed the quality and flavor of the meals. However, some aspects of the dining experience did feel a bit disconnected from the overall resort atmosphere.
Facilities

The recreational facilities are impressive, especially the golf courses and spa offerings. Yet, the pool area could use some adjustments to avoid overcrowding from kids and disruptive entertainment.

My stay at the resort was an enjoyable experience filled with stunning desert beauty and a peaceful atmosphere. The casita I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, perfect for unwinding. I appreciated the exceptional cleanliness throughout my stay. However, I was caught off guard by the initial charge at check-in, which was a bit unnecessary. Overall, I'm looking forward to returning for another relaxing escape.
